WandaVision kicked off as a black-and-white take on Fifties and Sixties sitcoms, smartly adding a splash of colour as the episodes moved on. We love this Googie style jumper that seems to have taken at least some inspiration from Leave It To Beaver (it’s a real show, we promise).

In WandaVision episode six, ‘All-New Halloween Spooktacular!’, viewers got to see Vision and Wanda get into the spirit of the season, adopting their rather dorky-looking original comic-book costumes as Halloween disguises. This new Funko takes inspiration from the episode – Wanda is even holding a pumpkin! Cute.

WandaVision was clearly inspired by the golden age of American sitcoms, especially Sixties comedy classic Bewitched and so is this awesome T-shirt. It’s got us twitching our noses in excitement.

This is an inspired piece of merchandise that would look great on anyone’s wall! The poster for the series was pretty awesome, but check out this new spin on it; mashing together the original comic book art to the new series artwork.

No listicle about WandaVision would be complete without talking about House of M. Although not a direct reimagining, it’s hard not to draw parallels between the show and Brian Michael Bendis’ seminal work on grief, hearbreak and reality-bending power…

Check out this new TV spot for Marvel Studios’ upcoming new Disney+ series WandaVision, which is said to be a blend of classic television mixed with the Marvel Cinematic Universe…

As well as giving us a better look into the new series, the video also reveals an original theme song written by Oscar®-winning songwriters Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez (Frozen), who penned unique songs for several episodes, spanning from the 1950s to the early 2000s: “WandaVision is such a cool, strange, one-of-a-kind project,” says Lopez. “When the director, Matt Shakman—an old friend from my college days—pitched it to us, we didn’t have to think about it. We loved the bright feeling of American sitcoms mixed with the deep sense of unease the story had, and it was a really inviting challenge to help set that tone.”

Featuring nine episodes in total, WandaVision sees Wanda Maximoff and Vision — two super-powered beings living idealised suburban lives — begin to suspect that everything is not as it seems…

The series stars Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff, Paul Bettany as Vision, Kathryn Hahn as Agnes, and Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambeau, who was introduced to audiences in Captain Marvel. Kat Dennings will reprise her role as Darcy from Thor and Thor: The Dark World and Randall Park will reprise his role as Jimmy Woo from Ant-Man And The Wasp. The series is directed by Matt Shakman with Jac Schaeffer as head writer.

WandaVision kicks off on Disney+ on 15 January 2021.

Things are getting a little strange over at the MCU – and we’re all for it! Due later this year, Marvel Studios’ captivating new series WandaVision has its first trailer (which premiered during the 2020 Emmys Awards), and you can check it out right here…

Created by MCU staple Jac Schaeffer (who co-wrote Captain Marvel and the eagerly anticipated Black Widow), WandaVision marks the first series from Marvel Studios streaming exclusively on Disney+.

The series is set to focus on our favourite pair of unlikely love birds, Wanda Maximoff aka Scarlet Witch and Vision, who are seemingly living a completely idyllic suburban life (though we suspect that not everything is quite as it seems…). However, seeing as WandaVision is reportedly set after the events of Avengers: Endgame, we’re not entirely sure how Vision (who was killed in Infinity War) will be revived…

Reprising their roles for the much-anticipated series are Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany as the titular pair. They will be joined by Kat Dennings playing Darcy Lewis (who we last spotted back in 2013 in Thor: The Dark World), Randall Wallace (Ant-Man 2) and the brilliant Kathryn Hahn in an as-yet uncredited role.

WandaVision will be premiering late 2020 on Disney +.
