You’re a mean one… there has been a spate of horror parodies recently (did you see the trailer for Winnie The Pooh horror Blood And Honey?). Well the festive season is now getting a horror parody of its own with The Mean One, which follows a woman’s battle against a green, Grinch-like killer.

Watch the first trailer here…

One Christmas Eve, in a sleepy mountain town, Cindy’s mother is killed and her Christmas stolen by the Mean One, a bloodthirsty green grouch in a red Santa suit. 20 years later, Cindy returns to Newville, where the monster launches another bloody reign of terror that threatens to destroy Christmas. Now Cindy’s got a bold new purpose: trapping and killing The Mean One.

Written and directed by Steven LaMorte, the movie stars Krystle Martin as Cindy and Terrifer’s David Howard Thornton as The Mean One.

The Mean One is out in US cinemas on 9 December. UK release is TBC. Find more movie reviews at SciFiNow.
