Aaron Taylor-Johnson stars as the titular character in upcoming R-rated film, Kraven the Hunter, which is set to release this October from Sony Pictures.

Set before his notorious vendetta with Spider-Man, Kraven the Hunter is the visceral story about how and why one of Marvel’s most iconic villains came to be.

Directed by J.C. Chandor (All Is Lost), from a  screenplay by Art Marcum & Matt Holloway (Men In Black: International) and Richard Wenk (The Equalizer), the movie stars Aaron Taylor-Johnson (Tenet), Ariana DeBose (West Side Story), Fred Hechinger (Fear Street), Alessandro Nivola (Amsterdam), Christopher Abbott (Possessor) and Russell Crowe (The Pope’s Exorcist).

Kraven the Hunter will be released on 6 October.
