A teaser for Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse, the follow up to 2018’s supremely successful Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (read our review here), has been released revealing the return of Gwen Stacy AND the fact that the story will be told in two parts.

Miles Morales returns for the next chapter of the Spider-Verse saga, an epic adventure that will transport Brooklyn’s full-time, friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man across the Multiverse to join forces with Gwen Stacy and a new team of Spider-People to face off with a villain more powerful than anything they have ever encountered.

Directed by Joaquim Dos Santos (The Legend of Korra), Kemp Powers (Soul) and Justin K. Thompson (The Powerpuff Girls), based on a screenplay by Phil Lord & Christopher Miller (The Lego Movie) and David Callaham (Wonder Woman 1984 ), the film stars Shameik Moore (The Get Down), Hailee Steinfeld (Hawkeye) and Oscar Isaac (Dune).

Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse will be exclusively at cinemas October 2022.
