Taking place at Picturehouse Central, in London’s West End, the London Action Festival will be held from 28th-31st July and includes a whole host of special events, from celebrations of Die Hard, to a 25th year special screening of Con Air plus much more!

For us genre fans, there will be a masterclass from some of the leading experts in the field of Visualization and VFX to take a look at the world of visual effects in Jurassic World Dominion. The masterclass will take place on 31 July and have special guests Pawl Fulker (Partner + Creative Director, Proof London Ltd. / Senior Visualization Supervisor), Dave Vickery (ILM, Visual effects Supervisor) on hand, all with the involvement of director Colin Trevorrow.

That’s not all! We ain’t got time to bleed because there will be a special 35-year screening of classic sci-fi thriller Predator on 31 July, which will be followed by a Q&A with none other than director John McTiernan.

The franchise is about to get a whole new addition with Prey this summer so now is the perfect time to join Dutch and see where it all began.

Life (and a Jurassic Park cast reunion) finds a way in the new trailer for Jurassic World Dominion.

Dominion takes place four years after Isla Nublar has been destroyed. Dinosaurs now live—and hunt—alongside humans all over the world. This fragile balance will reshape the future and determine, once and for all, whether human beings are to remain the apex predators on a planet they now share with history’s most fearsome creatures.

The movie sees the return of stars Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard, alongside Laura Dern, Sam Neill and Jeff Goldblum, who reprise their roles as Dr. Ellie Sattler, Dr. Alan Grant and Dr. Ian Malcolm. It also features BD Wong, Mamoudou Athie (Oh Jerome, No), Dichen Lachman (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.) and DeWanda Wise (She’s Gotta Have It).

Ahead of the release of Jurassic World Dominion next year, check out this brand-new five-minute special Prologue directed by Dominion director and co-writer Colin Trevorrow…

Though the above is not featured in the film itself, but is separate, original content, it serves as the beginning of a story that will be continued in theaters next summer.

Featuring seven new species of dinosaurs that have never been seen in a Jurassic film before, The Prologue is scored by Oscar^® winner Michael Giacchino (composer of Jurassic World, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom and Jurassic World Dominion) and rockets audiences back 65 million years into the past to experience the world before humans existed—and offers a glimpse of a world in which dinosaurs are living among us.

They worked from a story by Derek Connolly and Trevorrow, who together co-wrote Jurassic World and Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.

Jurassic World Dominion arrives in theaters 10 June 2022.
