The first teaser for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is here and it contains a familiar face as one of our favourite bearded wizards deals with the aftermath of playing around with the multiverse.

Watch it here…

This isn’t the first time the multiverse has been explored recently within the MCU, with Marvel series Loki and What-If and the recent Spider-Man: No Way Home all delving into the premise.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness sees Doctor Strange enlisting the help of Wanda Maximoff AKA Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen – who we haven’t seen since Disney+’s WandaVision) to explore it further. The teaser also seems to reveal the big bad for the movie – Doctor Strange himself!

Directed by Sam Raimi (Spider-Man), the movie stars Benedict Cumberbatch (Avengers: Endgame), Elizabeth Olsen (WandaVision), Benedict Wong (Doctor Strange), Rachel McAdams (About Time), Chiwetel Ejiofor (The Old Guard) and Xochitl Gomez (The Baby-Sitters Club).

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness will be released May 2022.
