From Hereditary and Midsommar’s Ari Aster comes a brand new surrealist movie starring Joaquin Phoenix with Beau Is Afraid.

A paranoid man embarks on an epic odyssey to get home to his mother in Beau Is Afraid, which – as A4 describes it – is a “bold and ingeniously depraved new film”.

Written and directed by Ari Aster, the movie stars Joaquin Phoenix (Joker), Nathan Lane (Penny Dreadful: City of Angels), Stephen McKinley Henderson (Dune), Patti LuPone (American Horror Story), Amy Ryan (Only Murders In The Building) and Parker Posey (Lost in Space).
