Chased by insurgents she finds refuge in an abandoned bunker, where Russians once experimented crossing human organs with alien DNA to create a deadly biological weapon. Set free from their giant test tubes, the &#x2018;ravagers&#x2019; invade a local US army outpost where the squad must fight the mutant monsters to the bitter end.</p>

<p>The sequel to 2020&#x2019;s fun anthology <em><strong>Scare Package</strong></em> (read our review <a href="https://www.scifinow.co.uk/reviews/scare-package-review-anthology-of-horror/">here</a>), <em><strong>Scare Package II: Rad Chad&#x2019;s Revenge</strong></em> (which you can see more of in our main image) finds horror guru &#x2018;Rad&#x2019; Chad Buckley&#x2019;s funeral turning into an elaborate series of hilarious death traps, so the guests must band together and use the rules of horror to survive the bloody diversions. From a New Year&#x2019;s Eve massacre to Final Girls turning into Soon To Die Girls and the Swarm attack to driving Miss Daisy crazy, the genre references fly as thick and fast as the bone chilling splatter.</p>

So they decide to turn up on Harper&#x2019;s doorstep with a plan to record a chart-topper together. The faded megastar invites them into her private mansion, locks the doors and pours what could be the last drink of Torn Hearts&#x2019; career. For their idol puts them through a series of twisted horrors that forces them to confront the limits they&#x2019;d go to for their dreams.</p>

The tight production should have worked like a dream. However, with the full moon bright in the night sky, the nightmare begins. The body count rises as the cast and crew encounter the mansion&#x2019;s resident werewolf. And there&#x2019;s a bad moon rising indeed!</p>

En route, the unit is attacked by German &#x2018;Werwolf&#x2019; partisans and picked off one-by-one. Brana leads her surviving comrades in a last stand to ensure their &#x2018;cargo&#x2019; doesn&#x2019;t fall into the hands of those who would see it buried, in order to hide the truth forever.</p>

After the tragic death of her husband in a climbing accident, avid rock climber Becky has withdrawn from the world. In an effort to help Becky heal from her past trauma, best friend Hunter suggests an exhilarating climb to the top of a remote, abandoned 2000-feet high radio tower where they will scatter her husband&#x2019;s ashes. But when sections of the mast&#x2019;s rickety ladder break off, the girls are stranded.</p>

<p>Ghoul news everyone (sorry)! Those frightening folks from our favourite horror festival, Arrow Video FrightFest have been busy curating top genre films for us to enjoy this summer and its incredible line-up has been announced!</p>
<p>Not only that, but we&#x2019;re delighted to reveal that we&#x2019;re partnering up with the event this year so expect to see a lot more FrightFest action right here at <em><strong>SciFiNow</strong></em>!</p>
<p>The festival is back at London&#x2019;s Cineworld Leicester Square and the Prince Charles Cinema from Thursday August 25 &#x2013; Monday 29 August for five days of the very best of global genre cinema. The film opens with <em><strong>Dog Soldiers&#x2019;</strong></em> Neil Marshall&#x2019;s latest movie <em><strong>The Lair</strong></em> and closes with the European premiere of Scott Mann&#x2019;s <em><strong>Fall</strong></em>. <p>Celebrating its 23rd blockbuster edition with 32 world, 22 International/European and 18 UK premieres included in the line-up, with 17 countries represented, spanning five continents there really is something for everyone. The films will be shown over the main Arrow and Shudder screens, the 101 Films Discovery Screen One at Cineworld Leicester Square, the 101 Films Discovery Screen Two at the Prince Charles Cinema and the 101 Films Discover Screen Three at the Prince Charles Cinema.</p>
<p>This year, there will be several guests attending too, including legendary directors Dario Argento and Neil Marshall (who will be introducing his new film <em><strong>The Lair</strong></em> PLUS looking back at his cult classic <em><strong>Dog Soldiers</strong></em>); directing duo Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead; actor/director Brea Grant; horror icon Dario Argento; cult French actor Brigitte Lahaie; FrightFest favourite Graham Skipper; actor Tom Felton; and Mark Kermode who, along with Alan Jones, will be bringing their stage show &#x2018;Duelling Egos: An Audience With Alan And Mark&#x2019; to the Prince Charles Cinema.</p>
<p>That&#x2019;s not the only event happening this year. &#x2018;The Duke Mitchell Film Party&#x2019; is back after three years, so expect trailers, scary PSAs and delightful celluloids, PLUS get those thinking caps on because there will be a special horror pub quiz on Wednesday night at the Phoenix club with &#x2018;The Evolution Of Horror&#x2019;.</p>

<p>Luckily, those terrifying folks over at FrightFest (not really, they&#x2019;re lovely) are giving us more gory goodness in the form of an extension on their popular summer film festival with a special Halloween line-up.</p>
<p>Yep Arrow Video FrightFest is back at the Cineworld, Leicester Square with a bumper two-day Halloween event on <strong>Friday 29 Oct and Sat 30 October</strong>, presenting nine fear-packed premieres from around the world, incorporating World, International and UK premieres.</p>
