Titans Season 2 is confirmed! The first season of Titans premiered on the DC Universe streaming service on October 12 and wrapped with a divisive season finale on December 21. The 10 episode season introduced a ton of new DC heroes and villains (including the Doom Patrol, who will then spin off into their own series) over the course of its run. But that’s only the start.
At New York Comic Con, Titans executive producer Geoff Johns confirmed that Titans Season 2 is a go. Not only that, they’ve already planned out the entire arc of the second season. And furthermore, they’ve already mapped out which new characters will appear.
The final member of the Deathstroke family has been cast. Chelsea T. Zhang (Disney’s Andi Mack) will play Rose Wilson, the Ravager. Here’s the official character description (courtesy of Deadline).
“Daughter of the deadly assassin, Deathstroke, Rose Wilson was forced to undergo the same procedure that granted her father nearly superhuman abilities, becoming a weapon known as Ravager. Ever resentful, she seeks out the Titans not only for their protection but to get back at her father. Knowing how dangerous it is to be the offspring of their deadliest foe, the Titans take her in but that doesn’t necessarily mean they trust her.”

Titans Season 2 Release Date
Good news! Titans Season 2 will arrive in 2019…fall 2019, but still! DC Universe made the announcement at Wonder Con.
Titans Season 2 Cast
Considering that the first season already started us off with Robin, Raven, Starfire, Beast Boy, Hawk, and Dove, and we also met the Doom Patrol, Jason Todd, and Donna Troy (not to mention a post-credits finale that introduced another fan favorite), it’s pretty clear that we’ll have a significantly larger team at the start of Titans Season 2. And it sounds like the team will only grow from there.
Natalie Gumede (Doctor Who) will play Mercy Graves. The official character bio (via Deadline) reads:
“Mercy Graves is the ruthless, cunning, right hand and bodyguard to the notorious Lex Luthor – serving her boss with unquestioned loyalty. Her connection to the Luthors runs deep, as Mercy has been a friend of the family and in Lex’s life since they were young.”
Of course, if Mercy is coming to the show, Lex Luthor can’t be far behind, but as of this writing, there’s no word on if he’ll appear or who would be playing him. Good luck topping Jon Cryer’s excellent Lex performance on Supergirl, though.
After all those Batman teases in season one, Titans season 2 will also introduce us to Bruce Wayne. He’ll be played by Jorah Mormont himself, Iain Glen. Here’s the official character description…
“After decades of fighting crime as Batman, billionaire Bruce Wayne is just as driven to protect Gotham from evil as he was in his prime. Needing to reconcile his relationship with Dick Grayson, the duo hope to forge a new dynamic as Bruce tries to help his former sidekick and the Titans achieve success.”
We have more details on Bruce Wayne’s arrival right here.
And of course there was that post credits season in the season finale, which makes it clear that Conner Kent (don’t call him Superboy) is on his way to the series, too. Warner Bros. and DC Universe have confirmed that Joshua Orpin has landed the role of Conner Kent/Superboy. Here’s the official character description…
“Superboy, aka Conner Kent, is the angsty teenager of steel searching for purpose and the truth about his past. While looking for answers, he crashes into the world of the Titans where he finds an unlikely home and surrogate family as well as revelations that carry more complications than he ever bargained for.”

Esai Morales will play Slade “Deathstroke” Wilson.
“Slade Wilson is known for being DC’s deadliest assassin. While serving his country, Slade became an elite soldier before government testing enhanced his physiology to near superhuman levels, putting him on a path of darkness and revenge. To his family, Slade is a father and husband, but to the rest of the world, he is feared by many as the infamous Deathstroke; selling his services to the highest bidder as the ruthless assassin that never gives up and never misses.”
We have more info on Deathstroke’s casting right here.
Chella Man has been cast as Jericho, the son of Slade “Deathstroke” Wilson, and a key member of the comics New Teen Titans lineup, able to project his consciousness into the bodies of others, effectively allowing him to take control of them for short periods of time.
Here’s the character’s official description:
“Son of the infamous DC villain Deathstroke (played by Esai Morales), Joseph Wilson is the Titan known as Jericho. Mute after his father failed to rescue him from having his vocal cords severed by assassins, Jericho has the unique ability to possess anyone just by making eye contact. This gentle natured yet proud hero has proven himself a formidable Titan.”
Titans has taken another step towards representation in superhero TV with Man’s casting. Like Jericho, Man is deaf, and he follows Supergirl‘s Nicole Maines as the second trans actor to portray a superhero.
Titans Season 2 Story Details
At NYCC, Geoff Johns also made a cryptic remark that Marv Wolfman (the legendary New Teen Titans writer, who was in the audience) would be very happy with the plans for Titans Season 2. That leads me to believe that they might go with loose adaptations of stories like “Who is Donna Troy?” or the absolutely essential “The Judas Contract.” None of that has been confirmed, of course. At the very least, considering how much is still up in the air with Rachel and the Trigon situation, that will likely be the primary focus of the next batch of episodes.
Something tells me that we aren’t going to get too deep into the Donna Troy mysteries, or go anywhere near “Judas Contract” territory until a third season given how season 1 left off. And anyway, they need to spend some time introducing Conner Kent and Krypto first, now!
We’ll update this with more information as it becomes available.
