We’re getting our first proper look at the new The Last Of Us adaptation in the first full trailer, including mushroom zombies, Eighties music, shopping malls and there’s more Joel and Ellie.

The story takes place twenty years after modern civilization has been destroyed. Joel, a hardened survivor, is hired to smuggle Ellie, a 14-year-old girl, out of an oppressive quarantine zone. What starts as a small job soon becomes a brutal, heartbreaking journey, as they both must traverse the U.S. and depend on each other for survival.
The cast includes Pedro Pascal (The Mandalorian) as Joel and Bella Ramsey (Game Of Thrones) as Ellie.
The show also stars Gabriel Luna (Terminator: Dark Fate) as Tommy, Anna Torv (Fringe) as Tess, Nico Parker (Reminiscence) as Sarah, Murray Bartlett (Iron Fist) as Frank, Nick Offerman (Devs) as Bill, Storm Reid (A Wrinkle In Time) as Riley, Merle Dandridge (The Last of Us videogame) as Marlene, Jeffrey Pierce (The Last of Us videogame) as Perry, Lamar Johnson (X-Men: Dark Phoenix) as Henry, Keivonn Woodard as Sam, Graham Greene as Marlon, Elaine Miles as Florence, and Ashley Johnson and Troy Baker.

The show is written and executive produced by Craig Mazin (Chernobyl) and Neil Druckmann (The Last of Us video game).
