The first real look at Thor: Love And Thunder is here and it’s been worth the wait! Not only does it look like Taika Waititi’s long-awaited sequel to Thor: Ragnarok has the same fun, colourful vibes in the official retro-looking poster (above) but the trailer gives us a first glimpse at Natalie Portman’s Mighty Thor, Christian Bale as Gorr the God Butcher as well as Thor on a journey of self-discovery and more Guardians Of The Galaxy.

The film finds Thor on a journey unlike anything he’s ever faced – a quest for inner peace. But his retirement is interrupted by a galactic killer known as Gorr the God Butcher, who seeks the extinction of the gods. To combat the threat, Thor enlists the help of King Valkyrie, Korg and ex-girlfriend Jane Foster, who – to Thor’s surprise – inexplicably wields his magical hammer, Mjolnir, as the Mighty Thor. Together, they embark upon a harrowing cosmic adventure to uncover the mystery of the God Butcher’s vengeance and stop him before it’s too late.
Directed by Waititi, Thor: Love And Thunder stars Chris Hemsworth (Avengers: Endgame), Christian Bale (Batman: The Dark Knight), Tessa Thompson (Thor: Ragnarok), Taika Waititi (Jojo Rabbit), and Natalie Portman (Annihilation).
