Eternals Soundtrack List: Every Song From the Movie

TV

As with most other big-budget films, Marvel’s Eternals has a soundtrack featuring some high profile songs, alongside the film’s stunning score, which was composed by Ramin Djawadi (Game of Thrones, Westworld, Iron Man, Pacific Rim). While Disney has officially released the Djawadi-composed Original Motion Picture Soundtrack (you can listen below!), they have yet to give any information on the potential release of the accompanying bops featured in the film, including tracks from BTS and Lizzo.

The Original Motion Picture is rich and epic—what we’ve come to expect from Djawadi’s work—but let’s talk about the rest of the musical landscape for the MCU film. We’ll keep you updated on purchase information for the pop and rock-driven soundtrack if and when it becomes available. For now, check out the track list…

Eternals Full Movie Soundtrack List

Marvels’ Eternals has one of the more eclectic soundtracks in the MCU. Unlike Guardians of the Galaxy or even Captain Marvel, it is not channeling a specific era’s nostalgia so much as trying to bring together musical references from across the ages to accompany the film’s millennia-spanning story. While most of the film’s soundtrack features tracks from the 20th and 21st centuries, there are also some late Baroque bops. (Though, sadly, no Harry Styles.) Check out the full tracklist below:

“Time,” Pink Floyd
“Sugarfoot,” Black Joe Lewis and The Honeybears

Marvel’s Eternals BTS Track Explained

BTS, aka the biggest group in the world, both gets a name drop (by Kumail Nanjiani’s Kingo) and a song—”Friends,” written and produced by BTS member Jimin—featured in the film. ETtoday (via BollywoodLife) asked Zhao about the inclusion, and the Chinese filmmaker said the song fit the movie’s message, which is about a family whose relationships span literally thousands of years. “Friends” is about the almost decade-long friendship between BTS members Taehyung and Jimin, who went to high school as idol trainees before debuting together in the same band.

Also, Zhao just likes the song. She added: “It’s because this is my favorite BTS song. I really like Jimin. He’s too cute … This song is done by two of them. It’s a beautiful song. There is a variety of songs in Eternals, but they are all songs that I like, such as those by Pink Floyd and BTS.”

The track’s inclusion has already garnered lots of excitement from ARMY around the world, as well as from Korean media…
