Saul Williams and Anisia Uzeyman’s afro-futurist sci-fi punk musical, Neptune Frost, is heading to select cinemas on 4 November and you can check out the trailer here…

Neptune Frost takes place in the hilltops of Burundi, where a group of escaped coltan miners camp in an otherworldly e-waste dump. They attempt a takeover of the authoritarian regime exploiting the region’s natural resources –and its people. When an intersex runaway and an escaped miner find each other through cosmic forces, their connection sparks glitches within the greater divine circuitry…

Co-directed by American poet, musician, and actor, Saul William, and actress, playwright and director Anisia Uzeyman, the pair certainly look to have brought their own unique flair to the genre, which is aptly represented in a clip from the movie below…
