New CG animated series Star Trek: Prodigy is the first Star Trek show aimed at younger audiences and now it is finally set to air in the UK this April over on Nickelodeon!
Check out a trailer here…
Star Trek: Prodigy follows a motley crew of young aliens who must figure out how to work together while navigating a greater galaxy, in search of a better future. These six young outcasts know nothing about the ship they have commandeered – a first in the history of the “Star Trek” franchise – but over the course of their adventures together, they will each be introduced to Starfleet and the ideals it represents.
Developed by Kevin and Dan Hageman (Trollhunters, Ninjago), the series also has stellar line-up of voice talent including Kathryn Janeway herself, Kate Mulgrew, alongside Brett Gray (On My Block), Ella Purnell (Yellowjackets), Rylee Alazraqui (Stillwater), Angus Imrie (The Kid Who Would Be King), Jason Mantzoukas (Invincible), Dee Bradley Baker (Star Wars: The Bad Batch), John Noble (The Conjuring 3: The Devil Made Me Do It) and Jimmi Simpson (Westworld).
Star Trek: Prodigy launches on Nickelodeon this April 2022.
