“I say one goddamned f*cked up horror picture…” Sounds about right! From A24 comes a new wild horror in the shape of X, which sees some filmmakers (of the adult movie variety) at the mercy of something rather strange in rural Texas.

Set in 1979, X follows a group of young filmmakers set out to make an adult film in rural Texas, but when their reclusive, elderly hosts catch them in the act, the cast find themselves fighting for their lives.
Written and directed by Ti West (The Innkeepers), the movie stars Mia Goth (Suspiria), Jenna Ortega (Studio 666), Martin Henderson (The Strangers: Prey at Night), Brittany Snow (Pitch Perfect), Owen Campbell (Body Brokers), Stephen Ure (Mortal Engines), and Scott Mescudi (Don’t Look Up).
X is in cinemas 18 March.
