Station Eleven: Apocalyptic series set to launch next year

The world as we know it is no more after a devastating flu outbreak decimates the human population in Station Eleven, the new limited series heading to STARZPLAY in January.

Based on the international bestseller by Emily St. John Mande, Station Eleven, tells the stories of the survivors of this outbreak as they attempt to rebuild and reimagine the world anew while holding on to the best of what’s been lost. The series is set to span multiple timelines and will comprise of ten episodes.

The series stars Mackenzie Davis (Terminator: Dark Fate), Himesh Patel (Yesterday) Daniel Zovatto (Penny Dreadful: City of Angels), David Wilmot (The Alienist), Matilda Lawler (Flora & Ulysses), Philippine Velge (Summer of 85), Nabhaan Rizwan (1917) and Lori Petty (Tank Girl), Gael Garcìa Bernal (Maya And The Three) and Danielle Deadwyler (The Harder They Fall).

Created for television by Patrick Somerville (The Leftovers), the series is executive produced by Somerville, who also serves as showrunner, Scott Steindorff (Chef), Scott Delman, Dylan Russell (Jane Got a Gun), Jessica Rhoades (Utopia), Hiro Murai (Atlanta), Jeremy Podeswa and Nate Matteson (The Choe Show).

Station Eleven will premiere Sunday, 30 January, 2022, on STARZPLAY in the UK, Austria, Germany, Ireland, Luxembourg and German-speaking Switzerland.
