Samurai western action thriller, Prisoners Of The Ghostland, is now available to rewatch over and over again as it lands on Blu-ray and DVD, and to celebrate we look at the film’s incredible visuals with some behind-the-scenes-storyboards which were drawn by Sora Kawai who worked with director Sion Sono on his ideas!

In the treacherous frontier city of Samurai Town, Prisoners Of The Ghostland sees a ruthless bank robber (Nicolas Cage) sprung from jail by wealthy warlord The Governor (Bill Moseley), whose adopted granddaughter Bernice (Sofia Boutella) has gone missing. The Governor offers the prisoner his freedom in exchange for retrieving the runaway. Strapped into a leather suit that will self-destruct within five days, the bandit sets off on a journey to find the young woman — and his own path to redemption.

Directed by Sion Sono (Why Don’t You Play in Hell?) the movie stars Nicolas Cage (Face/Off), Sofia Boutella (The Mummy), Nick Cassavetes (Face/Off), Bill Moseley (House of 1000 Corpses), Tak Sakaguchi and Yuzuka Nakaya.
The Blu-Ray comes complete with limited edition illustrated artwork and a fully reversible inner sleeve with both formats featuring brand new extras material.
