Whether you loved it or hated it (we gave it just one star, read the review here), Venom certainly had an impact when it was released back in 2018 and by the looks of the trailer for its sequel Venom: Let There Be Carnage, the latest adventure for Marvel’s Symbiote has a similar mix of humour and horror.

The sequel sees the return of Tom Hardy (Mad Max: Fury Road) as the lethal protector Venom, one of Marvel’s greatest and most complex characters. He stars alongside Michelle Williams (The Greatest Showman), Naomie Harris (Rampage), Reid Scott (Veep), Stephen Graham (Code 404) and Woody Harrelson (Zombieland: Double Tap), who is perfectly cast the role of the villain Cletus Kasady/Carnage.
Directed by Andy Serkis (Mowgli: Legend of the Jungle), Venom: Let There Be Carnage’s screenplay has been written by Kelly Marcel (Terra Nova), with the story by Tom Hardy and Kelly Marcel.
Venom: Let There Be Carnage will only be out at cinemas on 15 September.
