Based on the best-selling novel of the same name, and adapted and written by Stephen King, Lisey’s Story, will premier on 4 June on Apple TV+.

The eight-episode Apple Original series follows Lisey Landon (Julianne Moore, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1) two years after the death of her husband, famous novelist Scott Landon (Clive Owen, Children Of Men). A series of unsettling events causes Lisey to face memories of her marriage to Scott that she has deliberately blocked out of her mind.

The series also stars Joan Allen (The Killing), Jennifer Jason Leigh (Annihilation), Dane DeHaan (Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets), Ron Cephas Jones (Luke Cage) and Sung Kang (Raya and the Last Dragon).

Directed by Pablo Larraín (Jackie), Lisey’s Story hails from J. J. Abrams’ Bad Robot Productions and Warner Bros. Television. Every episode of the series was personally written by Stephen King, and King, Moore, and Larraín executive produce alongside Abrams, Ben Stephenson and Juan de Dios Larraín.

The first two episodes of Lisey’s Story will premiere globally on Friday 4 June 2021 on Apple TV+, followed by new episodes every Friday.
