Marvel’s 616: First-look trailer revealed for docuseries

Disney+ has shared the trailer for its upcoming original documentary series Marvel’s 616 which promises to give viewers a deeper look into the creative world of Marvel…

The eight-episode anthology is said to “explore Marvel’s rich legacy of pioneering characters, creators and storytelling to reflect the world outside your window. Each documentary… showcases the intersections of storytelling, pop culture, and fandom within the Marvel Universe. Episodes in this anthology series will cover topics including Marvel’s world-spanning artists, the trailblazing women of Marvel Comics, discovering the ‘forgotten’ characters of Marvel, and much more.”

Further to this, each episode of Marvel’s 616 is directed by a different person and the list of names are impressive, consisting of a variety of different filmmakers, including David Gelb (The Lazarus Effect), Alison Brie (Horse Girl), Gillian Jacobs (Community), Paul Scheer (Star Trek: Lower Decks) and Sarah Ramos (Midnight, Texas).

Marvel’s 616 premiers on Disney+ on 20 November.
