While E3 2020 may be canceled, there are still plenty of online gaming events happening this summer. Case in point: Summer Game Fest, a months-long online festival that will bring fans game reveals, new trailers, gameplay footage, and other surprise announcements. The event, which is the brainchild of The Game Awards creator and presenter Geoff Keighley, is being held from May through August.
“In these uncertain and challenging times, it’s more important than ever that video games serve as a common and virtual connection point between us all,” Keighley said in a press release. “SGF is an organizing principle that promises fans a whole season of video game news and other surprises from the comfort of home.”
Summer Game Fest will broadcast online gaming events that cover an array of platforms and titles, including the Destiny 2 Year 4 reveal event, the PC Gaming Show, EA Play, Ubisoft Forward, and more. On top of online events, Summer Game Fest will also host the Steam Game Festival, a curated list of free PC demos available from June 16 to 22.
Den of Geek will be bringing you all of the latest news from Summer Game Fest. Below, you’ll also find how you can watch all of the Summer Game Fest events as well as a guide to when they’re happening:
