If you just can’t wait to see Henry Cavill play Geralt in Netflix’s adaptation of The Witcher, there’s a PC mod for The Witcher 3 out there that may just give you a slight sneak peek of what to expect from the former Superman.
A modder named Adnan has posted his creation over on Nexus Mods, and the results are…notable. Basically, the mod just replaces the in-game Geralt with a character model designed to resemble Henry Cavill (or at least what we know he looks like based on the early promo material that Netflix has released for The Witcher).
It’s a surprisingly versatile mod for such a theoretically simple creation. Not only does it let you essentially play as the Henry Cavill version of Geralt, but the character model’s head and face accommodate certain in-game effects such as hair styling and what can happen to you when you drink too many of the wrong potions. In other words, it ensures that everything behaves the way it should.
That said, the creator has stated that the current mod will be used as a base for variations yet to be released. Presumably, we’ll see this mod grow once the show actually debuts, and we get a better idea of Cavill’s physical look and any other attributes which may need to be carried over to the game.

Much like Camelot, this mod is a bit silly, but you do have to respect the effort that went into it just like you have to respect the piercing eyes, stout chest, and impeccable jawline of Henry Cavill. Sorry…got lost in something there for a moment.
As for Netflix’s adaptation of The Witcher, it’s expected to be released sometime at the end of 2019. Unfortunately, we still don’t know the exact release date at this time.
